What We Do

We give students opportunities that change their lives

We work with donors and schools to give students in need the opportunities that make a real difference to their education and their lives.

Until now, many schools have found it difficult to build partnerships and attract donations from their communities and beyond. Schools Plus has been established to make it easy for schools and their supporters.

For supporters

We connect donors who know the importance of a great education with schools seeking funding for activities and equipment that will improve their students’ outcomes. Explore our Projects page to see the wide range of initiatives schools want to introduce to help their students. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

For schools

We support schools to raise funds in their community through a variety of ways including crowdfunding and Smart Giving. We also increase the connections with schools and donors. Explore our For Schools page to find out the best way Schools Plus can help your school.

Our impact

Schools Plus began fundraising to support students facing disadvantage in April 2015, after tax legislation passed by Federal Parliament confirmed our Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1) status.

Which schools are eligible?

We use the Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) to determine if a school is disadvantaged – schools must have an ICSEA value below 1000 to be eligible for support through Schools Plus. Use this interactive map to search for eligible schools.

We give a voice to schools. No one knows the needs of our students like the principals and teachers who teach them.
