Visionary educator and 2020 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Award recipient, Dr Scott Sleap, has been leading the Academies of STEM Excellence – an exciting, collaborative initiative designed to improve STEM expert knowledge in learning communities across NSW, engaging teachers in future-focused learning and teaching practice and assist teachers to engage and inspire a passion for STEM in their students.

Scott is joined by Wendy Bode from the Queensland Virtual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy (QVSA), who shares a case study of the QVSA program focused on delivering enrichment and enhancement programs focusing on current, real-world science, technology, engineering and mathematic challenges and research.
