Fundraise Yourself is a way for you to fundraise online for a project within your school that improves educational outcomes for students. In its simplest form, there are four steps:

  1. We create your crowdfunding page online for you to promote to your network
  2. Funds are collected by Schools Plus and transferred to your school
  3. You undertake the project within your school
  4. You follow up with your supporters to show them how their donations were spent
  5. You report back to Schools Plus on the impact of your project

Donations made to your school via Fundraise Yourself receive the benefit of tax-deductible giving through Schools Plus’ deductible gift receipt (DGR1) status. Tax-deductible donations to your school are not only a great way for donors to support your students and create positive change in their educational outcomes, it also helps to reduce their taxable income. This means donors will pay less tax at the end of the financial year. Financial donations of $2 or more can be made by both individuals and businesses and are considered tax-deductible. Schools Plus will send a tax-deductible receipt on behalf of your school to your donor.
