Literacy and numeracy are the fundamental building blocks of a child’s education and key to a thriving society. School-led projects to address this need include professional development for teachers, workshops for parents and evidence-based programs to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students from Kindergarten through to high school.

SHEPHERDSON COLLEGE


Australian Super worked with Schools Plus to fund financial numeracy projects for Gunbalanya Community School and Shepherdson College, located in remote parts of the Northern Territory. The projects were designed to improve the financial literacy of indigenous students using enterprise business programs and also worked with the Department of Education in the NT to improve the financial literacy of leaders.
