Rewarding commitment to learning across Years 11 and 12

Trangie Central School, NSW

TRANGIE CENTRAL SCHOOL  TERTIARY OPPORTUNITY PRIZE

We believe that providing further education, training and career opportunities has the power to change lives and enrich families and communities.

Keeping students motivated and engaged during Years 11 and 12 is challenging.  For many students the opportunities to continue study after Year 12 feel unachievable and this reduces students’ motivation to study, complete Year 12 and positively contribute to school life.

Rewarding commitment to learning across Years 11 and 12.

The Trangie Central School Tertiary Opportunity Prize will provide motivation for Year 11 and 12 students to continue and excel in their school learning by awarding students with financial contributions to cover college accommodation costs during their first semester of university or tertiary study.   The Tertiary Opportunity Prize helps students dream big and keep striving for academic excellence during Year 11 and 12.

Awarded to nominated student(s) in Term 4, the Tertiary Opportunity Prize will be an annual prize administered by Trangie Central School and used to cover prize winning students’ University College accommodation costs, up to $3000.

To be eligible for a prize, a student will need to have demonstrated a good work ethic, which includes attendance. He/she must have consistently modelled the values and expectations of Trangie Central School of being a Safe, Respectful Learner and be able to demonstrate a strong ambition for the future.

With your help we hope to provide this prize to at least 2 students in 2018, and continue this prize year on year.

All donations are Tax-Deductible.

Thank you for your ongoing support in creating this motivation for students across  Year 11 and 12 at Trangie Central School.
