Help upgrade Yamba Public School’s access to computer devices

Yamba, NSW

A new set of 15 computers, shared throughout the school, will increase the opportunity to upskill students' ICT knowledge, skills and understandings so that these students can more effectively find, use and create information in a more beneficial way. This set of 15 computers will 1. allow students to work cooperatively with others on research and presentation tasks and 2. be used in conjunction with existing sets to provide students individual access so they can complete differentiated personal educational tasks set for them by their teachers. Additionally, exposure and application to the various programs commonly used in the high school setting will have a substantial impact on the Year 6 cohort who will benefit from the extra ICT guidance they will get before they begin undertaking more independent learning.
